Sunny skies on Wednesday will allow more melting across the state. However, open skies are catch-22; clearing causes temperatures to tumble which will refreeze surfaces that have melted.
Wednesday night a quick shot of some colder air will pass by, so Thursday looks to be chilly all day long.
Friday and Saturday some showers are expected. Timing will be critical, because in some western locations, rain may start as freezing rain. By Friday afternoon the precip will be all rain.
