The atmosphere is warming up ahead of a cold front that's getting into Arkansas Friday/Saturday. Showers will be scattered around the state on Friday with cloudy conditions and temps in the 70s.
Late Friday night and early Saturday morning showers and storms will ignite in south Arkansas. Throughout Saturday the front actually moves back towards the north prolonging the stormy weather in the state.
Flood Watch and slight risk of severe weather is posted for Saturday in Arkansas. Rainfall totals up to 3" or 4" are likely, plus thunderstorms with strong wind gusts and isolated tornadoes will be possible.
