Skies will be partly cloudy today as high clouds move into the region ahead of the next storm out west. Rain chances will increase throughout the day Friday. There could be some fz. rain or snow over the northern counties early Friday before a transition to rain.
Friday and Saturday some showers are expected. Timing will be critical, because in some north and western locations, rain may start as freezing rain or sleet. By Friday afternoon the precip will be all rain.
