Texarkana police surprise boy with much-needed wheelchair

TEXARKANA, Ark. (KTHV) – This is a story that will definitely put a smile on your face.

The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department recently met 11-year-old Troy at a Night to Shine event.

Troy was in desperate need of a wheelchair to help make things a little easier for him and his mother.

On Monday, Bravo Squad made sure Troy had a really nice wheelchair. They were able to do this with the help of Ms. Diana Greenlee who teaches at Union Elementary School.

In their Facebook post, the department said, “Thank you, Ms. Johnson [Troy's Mother], for allowing us to be blessed by Troy’s beautiful smile today!”
