SHERWOOD, Ark. (KTHV) - This is the busy time of year for school readers. It’s Read Across America Week in honor of Dr Seuss’ birthday.

First stop was Cato Elemetary, where they chose their favorite Seuss book. Wacky Wednesday was the big winner.

Stop number two was the Clinton Library where they heard “Oh the Places You Will Go.” It was the perfect book for kids who came all the way up from Langston Elementary in Hot Springs.

And, at Baker Elementary, it wasn’t Dr Seuss getting all the attention; it was lemonade.

Their entire school read the same book: “The Lemonade War.”

Craig O’Neill read the first chapter and the children picked it up from there.

At their assembly they celebrated with prizes for teachers and a rap and the first chapter of the sequel “The Lemonade Crime.”
