NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – One of the biggest things to come out of last year’s general assembly was the separation of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and Robert E. Lee Day, and a whole lot is being planned for the inaugural celebration this year.

2018 MEGA KINGFEST: “A Day of Service – A Day On, Not Day Off” community outreach project is a free educational family-friendly event that provides on-site community service projects and activities.

The MEGA KINGFEST is the fourth largest event in the nation for volunteerism.

Doors will open at 12:30 p.m. and the event will begin at 1 p.m. on Monday at the North Little Rock High School Performing Arts Center at 101 W 22nd Street.
