Firefighters suspect foul play in west Little Rock fires this week

The Little Rock Fire Department is investigating fires that started on March 6.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) — Thirty-six wildfires broke out across west Little Rock in grassy areas along Chenal Parkway, Stagecoach, Cantrell and Bowman roads on March 6. The Little Rock Fire Department said they now have reason to believe some of the fires were set intentionally.

"The time that one started here and another here are too far apart and they're too close in time-proximity for them to be connected," Captain Weaver with the Little Rock Fire Department said.
