Lara Woloszyn is the Digital Content Manager at THV11 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She specializes in all digital content.
Lara grew up in Jonesboro, Arkansas and graduated from Jonesboro High School. During her high school academic career, she was part of many clubs, organizations- including the Varsity Soccer team, JHS Cheerleading Competition squad, Thespian Troope 1338, and much more.
From high school she attended Arkansas State University. At first, she went to college with her eyes set on being a History major and going to Law School. But she quickly learned that radio and television was the way to go, especially with her love of storytelling and acting background. She graduated in May of 2013 from the College of Liberal Arts and Communications with a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in English.
Lara is a passionate journalist at THV11 and has worked in several roles in the newsroom since beginning her professional career after graduating from A-State. She started as an intern at THV11 in May 2012 where she helped them be one of the first teams to use a backpack to broadcast live from the top of Pinnacle Mountain on her first day.
After graduating from college, in June 2013, she began her career at THV11 as a part-time sports editor and producer. She worked on countless longform HogZone projects that ranged from emotional wins, to the hiring [and later firing] of Arkansas Razorbacks head coach Bret Bielema.
Two months after joining the THV11 family, she began working behind the scenes producing THV11 This Morning for a little over a year and was there through wall-to-wall coverage of snow and severe storms. Especially the April 27, 2014 tornado outbreak in Faulkner County that left 16 people dead and a community and state devastated. She then proceeded to produce THV11 News at 5 p.m., tackling several difficult stories including the disappearance and murder of Searcy 2-year-old Malik Drummond, and the Arron Lewis trial for the murder of Arkansas realtor Beverly Carter.
She now leads one of the strongest digital teams in Little Rock, not only making sure relevant accurate content is posted on our website, but that it is properly shared on all social media channels in an accurate and timely way. She is also a member of the Radio Television Digital News Association and the National Broadcasting Society.
Lara loves soccer and has played her whole life. She’s a member of the U.S. Soccer Federation as a registered referee for the state of Arkansas since 2005. Lara has also been a volunteer coach for the Sherwood Soccer Club since 2013 where she’s been with the same youth boys team since they were Under-6. She’s also coached a girls U7 team and U14 team in previous years. Her favorite soccer teams are the Little Rock Rangers, Orlando Pride, and Manchester United.
She also loves football and is obsessed with the Arkansas State Red Wolves and Dallas Cowboys. Lara loves the outdoors: hunting and fishing. And she loves all animals, but especially her dog, Remington Avery.
