Marlisa joined the THV11 family for the second time in 2019 as an evening anchor and reporter.
In her first stint at THV11 from 2013 to 2016, she covered hundreds of topics including the state's takeover of the Little Rock School District, the Bobby Moore trials and the April 2014 tornadoes that devastated the communities of Mayflower and Vilonia.
She graduated from St. Edward's University and is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
"I called Little Rock 'home' for years and could not miss the opportunity to return," she told us. "I can't wait to get back and be a part of impacting the community I've grown to love and care so much about."
In early 2019, she received the Robert L. Vann Award of Excellence from the Pittsburgh Black Media Foundation for her work at WPXI in Pittsburgh.
In her free time, Marlisa loves to explore the city and eat all the food. She once said that the south has the best cooking and her favorite dish is macaroni cheese.
