Adopt a four-legged friend for free at Little Rock Animal Village

There's no cost to adopt a dog six months and older Friday & Saturday (March 29 & 30) at the Little Rock Animal Village.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Adoption fees for dogs six months and older are being sponsored by the Friends of the Animal Village (FAV), a volunteer support group of the LRAV, the city’s animal shelter.

The LRAV is at full capacity and FAV hopes that the free adoptions will not only help more animals find loving homes but will also free up space to care for more dogs who will likely come to the Village this weekend. Saturdays are the highest intake days at the LRAV and because it’s puppy season, an influx of puppies is also expected over the next few weeks.

The Little Rock Animal Village is located at 4500 Kramer Street in Little Rock and adoption hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. A few of the available dogs can be viewed on the FAV website, but there are many more that are at the shelter waiting for forever homes!

All dogs adopted from the LRAV come spayed or neutered, microchipped and have had all of their vaccinations. The LRAV can be contacted at 501-376-3067.
