HOT SPRINGS, Ark. — The Discover Arkansas Team made their way to Hot Springs this week for an outdoor adventure! Cedar Glades Park is just a short drive from downtown Hot Springs. When you are there, it feels like a getaway that would take hours to drive to.
It is a 432-acre park filled with hiking and biking trails. Cedar Glades has 15 miles worth of mountain bike trails. It was recently voted in the top 5 biking trails in the state.
If biking is not your thing, the park also has an 18-hole Disc Golf Course – a tough one at that! Cedar Glades Park is also home to Arkansas’ Premier R/C Flying Field. Everything in the park is free to use except for a small $5 fee for their rock climbing wall, which you need an appointment for!
This park is beautifully maintained and a perfect fit for anyone in the family. A playground with a trail leading to a three story tree house is perfect entertainment for the little ones. From ADA accessible tables for picnics and an amphitheater for shows, a campground, scenic overlooks and observation decks, this park has it all!
Spend an afternoon or camp out for a week, know that the restrooms and water fountains will be clean.
The park is easy to get to and easy to navigate.
