You can go on a zip-lining adventure at the The Vines Center right here in Little Rock!

The Discover Arkansas team traveled to the C.A. Vines Arkansas 4-H Center, also known as The Vines Center.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — West Little Rock serves as the location for this serving of Discover Arkansas. The Discover Arkansas team traveled to the C.A. Vines Arkansas 4-H Center, also known as The Vines Center. This is the home of fun, activities for all ages, and conference space.

One of the inviting activities that drew the team to The Vines Center was the zip-lining adventure, but we’ll get into that in a minute.

The Vines Center serves as host to more than 4-H groups. The conference space and lodging amenities make this destination popular with family reunions, weekend retreats of all kinds, and a wonderful team-building venue. A nicely furnished and equipped cafeteria covers food interests, while seasonally using vegetables grown in the on-site vegetable garden.

The Vines Center is host to many groups throughout the year, to include home-schooled children who visit to encounter the many programs offered by the incredible staff. During the summer, a buzz fills the air with fun activities to include enjoying the great outdoors and canoeing on the serene lake.

Oh yeah...zip-lining. None of the Discover Arkansas team had participated in zip-lining, until now!

A team-building confidence course winds through the woods, tackling many obstacles to encourage growth amongst members of the group.

Toward the end of the obstacles comes a high ropes course. The only (fun) way down is by hooking up to the zip-line and flying to the bottom. Theba Lolley conquered some fears and had a special moment while navigating this obstacle.

Sometimes Discover Arkansas is more than seeing amazing places and meeting super awesome people — sometimes it’s about discovering ourselves.  The Vines Center is the home to many wonderful memories and an important location for growth on many levels.
