The Vine crew spent the day at Haynes Ace Hardware in Conway to learn several different DIY projects. Our 'instructor' for these projects was COO Brian Porterfield with Haynes Ace.

First, Brian taught me the easy one-step process to use chalk-based paint. We painted an old side table and gave it a new life! We used the Amy Howard at Home paint in color 'Good Man is Hard to Find. Click here to buy it online or visit Haynes Ace.

Then, we visited my favorite section of the store - GRILLING. While all of Ace's grills are new, Brian showed us how some products can make your old grill look new again. We used spray grill cleaners by Traeger and Weber. There's also the Rust-Oleum Spray Paint that can stop rusting.

Finally, my wife loves flowers and plants so I wanted to learn how to make a huge potted plant that's worthy of her love! Brian sells hundreds of flowers and vegetables in the outdoor Gardening section of Haynes Ace. He showed me how to stack different heights of flowers to achieve the perfect look.

All of the products we used during these DIY projects can be found at Haynes Ace Hardware in Conway or Morrilton.

The Conway store is located at 1085 Morningside Dr.

The Morrilton store is located at 4 Davis Dr.
