MOUNT IDA, Ark. — We promise, it's worth the drive to Mount Ida to get messy and find some crystals.

The World Championship Quartz Crystal Dig will be held on October 11th & 12th. Registration & orientation is at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds, then diggers will head to the mine after orientation.

And if you don't feel like digging, the QQC (Quartz, Quiltz & Craftz) Festival will be held October 11th - 13th at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. Friday & Saturday: 9am - 6pm. Sunday:10am - 4pm. Admission is Free, Parking on grounds is $1 per vehicle.
