LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas — Each year, more than 350,000 cardiac arrests happen outside of hospitals. When that happens, it’s important people nearby act quickly.
"Less than half of the victims will receive CPR from a bystander but having immediate CPR performed can double or triple a person’s chance of survival," said Rebecca Buerkle with the American Heart Association.
Mary-Kaylin Linch and Buerkle showed The Vine team how to make life-saving decisions by using CPR.
