LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Billion Dollar Challenge is scheduled for April 16 with prize winners from other participating lottery jurisdictions. Robert McAlister of Malvern and Albert Pyle of Mabelvale will have a chance to win a cash prize from $1,000 up to $1 billion. 

McAlister and Pyle entered non-winning Willy Wonka Golden TicketsTM into the promotion through the ASL’s player’s club, The Club. The prize includes round-trip airfare for two to Las Vegas, three night’s accommodations at a deluxe hotel, and $1,000 spending money.

More than 92 cents of every dollar of Lottery revenue goes to prizes, scholarships, retailer commissions, and other expenses in Arkansas. 

Since 2009, the Lottery has provided more than $781 million for more than 302,000 college scholarships, more than $2.8 billion in prizes to players, about $240 million in retailer commissions and more than $122 million state and federal tax revenue.
