A Cabot third grader has won the National Bonnie Plants 3rd grade cabbage growing contest for the state of Arkansas for 2016-2017.
John Micheal Farthing, a third grader at Mountain Springs Elementary, won the contest with a whopping cabbage that weighed in at 17.5 pounds. Now that's a big cabbage!
Farthing was also awarded with a $1,000 savings bond towards his future education.
