It’s been a wild ride for Matt. He started taking the ACT in seventh grade where he got a 32. He retook it in ninth grade and received a 34. Then, in eleventh grade in late 2018, he received a 35 and now receiving a perfect score of 36.

According to Matt’s mother, Jackie Falls, Matt said, “Ever since I made a 32 in seventh grade, people have been expecting this.”

INTERVIEW BELOW:

Matt has two brothers, Ben and Brooks. They’re triplets. And just this past November, Matt and his brother, Ben, were inducted into the Mu Alpha Theta Society. Mu Alpha Theta is a mathematics honor society. Brooks was also invited to join.

The brothers also have an older sister, Betsy, 18, who is in the honors program at Tulane University. She was awarded two merit scholarships and made the Dean’s List. So, what a smart group of siblings!

While Matt still has some time left in high school, college talk is on the table. He is interested in engineering and space. But he’s not quite sure what career he’d like to have.

He has and is visiting schools like MIT, CalTech, Harvard and Georgia Tech. But he hasn’t made a firm decision on where he wants to go, just yet.

The future is bright for this Arkansan and we can’t wait to see what he does!

Congrats, Matt!
