LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – This edition of Auto Coach is about vehicles that use alternative fuels.
You may notice on the back of some vehicles it says, “Flex Fuel” or “E85.”
So, what does that mean? It means that vehicle is capable of using regular gasoline or ethanol-based fuels, which you see at gas pumps nowadays. It’s a better fuel source for things using things that we’re refining to make the fuel burn better and too run cooler so it’s more efficient in your vehicle.
Also, a lot of our vehicles nowadays have a diesel fuel option. So, you can check with manufacturers to see if diesel fuel may be an option for your vehicle. And we all know electric cars are just around the corner.
We’re seeing them every day pop up on lots, you’re going to see vehicle stations that allow you to plug your car in and charge it.
