STRONGSVILLE, Ohio — What if your favorite chicken sandwich came straight to you, without any trips to the restaurant or drive-thru?

Northeast Ohioans in the Strongsville area now have that opportunity, thanks to the new Chick-fil-a food truck. According to the store, it's one of only a few Chick-fil-a food trucks across the country and will be serving Strongsville and its surrounding communities, including Ashland.

The truck made its first public appearance Wednesday night in Strongsville.

Now, it will be making its way around the area to serve Chick-fil-a favorites. Among the cities on its stop list is Ashland, according to the store's Facebook page

Ashland Mayor Matt Miller wrote on his Facebook page that Brian Wellman, owner of the Strongsville Chick-fil-a store, reached out to the city of Ashland as soon as he got confirmation his store would be receiving the truck.

"He knew Ashland had to be one of its first stops! So congratulations to all of you who helped close this deal for our city! YOU earned this victory! Tuesdays are about to become more terrific in Ashland!" Miller wrote.
