LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Two of Little Rock's most beloved restaurants have been recognized as finalists for the Arkansas Food Hall of Fame out of a total of 1,450 submissions!

Bruno's Little Italy and Star of India were both nominated for the title out of a total of 10 restaurants in the running.

Other restaurants nominated in central Arkansas include Feltner's Whatta-Burger in Russellville and the Ohio Club in Hot Springs.

The other categories are Proprietor of the Year, with 4 out of 5 finalists from Little Rock; Food-Themed Events, with International Greek Food Festival landing in the top 4; and finally, the Gone But Not Forgotten category.

The People's Choice Award is based on the number of entries and will be announced at the induction ceremony on Monday, Feb. 24 at the Ron Robinson Theater in Little Rock. The business casual reception starts at 5 p.m. with the ceremony beginning at 6:15 p.m.
