North Royalton High School senior writes and performs song 'More Time' amid students losing out on final days of school due to COVID-19 crisis

CLEVELAND — School is out for summer. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine announced on Monday that schools across the state will close through the end of the academic year.

For seniors across Northeast Ohio this may be a very difficult time, flooded with emotions that their time in high school is officially over due to the governor's ruling. 

Reality is setting in for many and Becca Pavelich, a senior at North Royalton High School, is channeling the feeling she and other students are dealing with through a song. Recently on YouTube, Pavelich posted a video of her performing the song "More Time" that hopes to express and capture how many high school seniors may be feeling at this time.

The YouTube video of Pavelich performing is accompanied by a video featuring the North Royalton High School class of 2020 that was created by a middle school teacher in the same district. You can watch it in the player below:
