Where to see festive holiday lights in central Arkansas

Here are some spots to see holiday lights that are sure to spark Christmas cheer!

ARKANSAS, USA — Central Arkansas is ready to celebrate the holidays with these festive light displays that are fun for the whole family!

Garvan Gardens Winter Garden Festival in Hot Springs 

Where: Garvan Gardens - 550 Arkridge Road, Hot Springs National Park

When: Nov. 19 - Dec. 31, 4 - 9 p.m.  
Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas day

Cost: $15 for adults, $5 for ages 4-12, and free for ages 3 and under

GloWild at the Little Rock Zoo

Where: 1 Zoo Drive, Little Rock

When: Select dates from 5 - 9 p.m. until Jan. 7

Cost: $17 for zoo members, $20 for the general public (ages 3 years old and up). Kids 2 years old and younger are admitted for free, and parking is free.

A Trail of Holiday Lights at Sherwood's Enchanted Forest

Sherwood's Enchanted Forest Trail of Lights is a mile-long drive-thru trail of holiday lights.

Where: Sherwood Sports Complex, 511 Bear Paw Road 

When: Nov. 20 - Dec. 30, from 6 - 9:30 p.m. The gates to the Sports Complex will close at 9:30 p.m. to allow ample time for the vehicles within the parking lot gates to make it through the trail.

Cost: Admission is free but donations to fund future displays are accepted.

Santa on Sayles in Jacksonville

Where: 10301 Sayles Rd., Jacksonville

When:  Sunday - Thursday 5:45 - 9:30 p.m. & Friday - Saturday 5:45 - 10:30 p.m. Weather permitting.

Cost: Free, though donations are appreciated.

Hot Springs Holiday Lights on Bathhouse Row in Hot Springs 

Where: Central Ave. between Reserve and Fountain St., in Hot Springs National Park  

When: Nov. 23 - Jan. 4

Cost: Free

DinoTrek at the Mid-America Science Museum

Where: 500 Mid-America Blvd., Hot Springs

When: Fridays and Saturdays from 5 - 7 p.m. from Nov. 26 - Dec. 18  

Cost: $12 for adults, $10 for children ages 3-12, $11 for seniors aged 65 and older, teachers, and military.
