Getting the most spice out of your mancave | Today's Home

Did you know there is a way to get the most out of your beloved mancave? Chris H. Olsen tells us how.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - You know the one thing is when Chris Olsen does interior design with his clients is so many women go they want a space for their husbands what we call a man cave they want it to still be stylish but yet functional and yet the husband will be happy and she’s happy.

Sometimes that can be hard to do. But he said a man cave can be beautiful and stylish. And that is exactly what’s done in this room. It has pretty much masculine undertones. It has neutrals with a little bit of splash of color. It’s all about function.

We have this really large sectional because it’s big so you can have all your buddies hanging out watching football. Speaking of football, you’ve got to have a big TV and this is a 75-inch TV. It works over this fireplace because the fireplace becomes your focal point. So, you can have a fire with the guys it’s gas logs so you don’t have to worry about wood and sparks coming out and that type of thing. And then you also have a built-in bar.

This room has a built-in bar. It’s not very large because you really don’t need a lot of space. You only need a sink, a refrigerator and that type of thing. Then we took advantage of the architectural elements of this room.

For example, Chris took the closet out and exposed the turret and then you can see the turret and did some really cool tile. So, we accentuated that and now it becomes a focal point of the room. Mix and match different chairs and lamps you can make a man cave stylish.
