The Arkansas State Police captain adopted a kitten he rescued from I-49 this morning and is now asking for name suggestions.

Lieutenant Matt Toon and Captain David Cooper from the Arkansas State Police were driving down Interstate 49 Tuesday morning when they spotted a kitten, scared and alone against a concrete barrier.

"After a successful rescue and a quick run to Lyon Veterinarian Hospital in Springdale for some fluids, he got a clean bill of health," Arkansas State Police said in a Facebook post.

Just when the story couldn't get sweeter... there's no need to find an owner for the little guy, cause Captain Cooper's already adopted him.
