Valentine’s Day has come and gone, but love is still very much in the air in central Arkansas.
Clayton Bowers works for Baldwin & Shell Construction Company. When he told his co-workers he was ready to propose to his girlfriend Peyton Weaver, they came up with an idea to use Clayton’s love for construction.
The team is currently working on the Harley Davidson store site near the Outlets at Little Rock. With help from his coworkers Nick Copas and Darren Yoder, Clayton was able to write “Will U Marry Me?” on a beam and hoist it into the air with a crane Friday afternoon.
Clayton told Peyton he needed to swing by the site to pick something up, but when she saw the beam and the message, she knew something else was happening. Of course, she said yes.
The couple plans to get married in the fall, so the next step is planning a wedding.
