LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a recall of over 280,000 infant rattles due to choking hazards.
The recall was issued on January 25 for the VTech ‘Shake and Sing Elephant’ rattles with model number 80-184800.
According to the CPSC website, the ears on the elephant rattles can break off, posing a choking hazard to young children.
The items are sold at Walmart, Kmart, Amazon.com, and Zulily.com from November 2015 through November 2017.
Anyone with the rattles should stop using them and contact VTech for a full refund at 1-800-521-2010 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Or online at vtechkids.com and click on Support for more information.
