Dickey-Stephens Parks going cashless next year

The Arkansas Travelers announced that Dickey-Stephens Park will no longer be accepting cash beginning in 2023.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — On Friday, the Arkansas Travelers announced that Dickey-Stephens Park will no longer be accepting cash beginning in 2023.

The cashless policy will include all events, including Travelers games, other baseball games, and non-baseball events.

Patrons will be able to purchase a gift card either online or in person at the park on the day of the event they're attending.

These cards will be accepted at all concession stands and the gift shop, but will not be accepted at the box office.

Cash will still be accepted in the Travelers' official parking lot west of the Broadway Bridge, and cards may also be used to pay to park there.

Along with transitioning to a cashless facility, Dickey-Stephens Park will continue to have a clear bag policy for all events.

The reason for the decision is to help to shorten wait times in lines at concession stands and the gift store. Additionally, the policy will help promote health and safety for patrons and staff.
