NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Editor's note: The video shown above is from August 2019.

According to the Arkansas National Guard, they will be conducting a training on ranges at Camp Robinson Maneuver Training Center.

The National Guard has warned the public and for them to expect to hear loud explosions.

The noise and associated sounds are likely to carry outside Camp Robinson’s perimeter and may potentially cause concern in the communities and surrounding areas beyond the borders of the post.

The Arkansas National Guard understands that some aspects of ongoing military training creates disruptive noise and ground vibration concerns. The Guard endeavors to keep their neighbors near the post informed when such external effects can be expected.

Through their training, and the continued support of the communities, the Arkansas National Guard and our collocated sister service organizations can continue to make positive contributions to the safety and security of our State and Nation.

Folks, our contractor should be on site now. After speaking with the... contractor on the phone, we think that particular siren may have taken a lightening strike or a power surge as storms passed through last night....because it's only that siren that's sounding off.
