AT&T experiences 911 outages across Garland County, part of nationwide issue

AT&T has notified the Hot Springs Police Department that you cannot dial 911 with their service as of 8 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2.

AT&T has notified the Hot Springs Police Department that you cannot dial 911 with their service as of 8 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2.

Officials said it could be a "nationwide network" issue.

Several police departments from other states have posted to Twitter, alerting residents with AT&T service that they may have issues calling 911 with their mobile phones.

Police say if you have AT&T and have an emergency, you will need to call 501-321-6789 and dial 0.

AT&T said that they are working on the issue and are attempting to resolve it as quickly as they can.
