NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — On Thursday, July 11, at 9:25 p.m., the North Little Rock Police Department received a 911 call in reference to shooting at The Ridge apartment complex located at 930 W. Scenic.
Upon arrival, officers located a male victim on the side walk in front of the location suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Detectives with the North Little Rock Police Department responded to the scene and initiated a homicide investigation. North Little Rock police have identified the victim at 19-year-old Jarvis Kolen of North Little Rock.
