31-year-old female dead, one injured after Thursday morning shooting in Little Rock

On Thursday, June 25, at 12:50 a.m., officers responded to Stillman Drive in reference to a shooting.

On Thursday, June 25, at 12:50 a.m., officers responded to Stillman Drive (Valley Estates) in reference to a shooting.

When officers arrived, they located multiple victims at the location. 

Police say two subjects were seriously wounded and were transported to local hospitals for treatment. 

Latoya Ford, 31, was suffering from a gunshot wound under her left arm. Another 42-year-old victim was also suffering from a gunshot wound to her lower abdomen. 

Officers later found several shell casings at this location. The area was marked off as a crime scene, and detectives were requested to respond.
Violent Crimes– Gun Squad Detectives responded to the scene and began their investigation by performing a neighborhood canvass. 

Several of the occupants that were adults and juveniles were interviewed by detectives. Detectives have been following leads but have not yet developed a suspect in this investigation.

On June 25, the Pulaski County Coroners notified Violent Crimes Detectives that Latoya Ford died due to her injuries while at the hospital. This investigation has now been transferred to the Homicide Unit as a Homicide Investigation.

This investigation is ongoing and the next of kin has been notified. This homicide occurred in Little Rock’s Southwest Division.
