LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – A suspect was taken into custody on Wednesday morning after three people were found dead in a Hot Springs home.

Around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, officers with the Hot Springs Police Department responded to the 200 block of Nevada Street for a welfare check and found three people dead.

During the investigation, detectives processed the crime scene, interviewed witnesses and determined the identity of the suspect as 34-year-old Nicholas Matthew Lewondowski of Hot Springs.

Around 6:51a.m. on Wednesday, Lewondowski was arrested without incident at a home on Little Mazarn Road and taken into custody.

The names of the deceased victims are not being released at this time, pending notification of next of kin.

Lewondowski has been transported to HSPD and arrested for three counts of capital murder. He will be transported to the Garland County Detention Center and booked in with no bond.
