Arrest made after man found dead from gunshot wound in Jacksonville home

Police have arrested 27-year-old Alexander Luigi Zaio in connection to the homicide.

JACKSONVILLE, Arkansas — On Tuesday, June 30, at 7:21 a.m., officers with the Jacksonville Police Department responded to a residence on Coffelt Road for a report of a gunshot victim. 

Upon arrival, officers entered the residence and discovered a male victim deceased from a gunshot wound. The victim was later identified as 31-year-old Gregory Michael Stricklen of Carlisle.

Police have arrested 27-year-old Alexander Luigi Zaio in connection to the homicide. He has been charged with Murder 1st Degree, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of Firearm by Certain Person. 

Zaio will be held at the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility with No Bond.
