Little Rock man arrested for internet stalking of a child, held on no bond

On Friday, Dec.14, the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division worked in conjunction with the Dallas County Sheriff's Office and arrested Milton Jefferson of Little Rock, after an investigation disclosed he solicited an underage female for the purpose of sex.

PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) - On Friday, Dec.14, the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division worked in conjunction with the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office and arrested Milton Jefferson of Little Rock, after an investigation disclosed he solicited an underage female for the purpose of sex.

Police said the underage female he was texting was actually an investigator with the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office whom he contacted earlier in the week.

Dallas County Investigators contacted the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office when they determined the illegal acts were to take place in Little Rock. Text conversations from Mr. Jefferson disclosed he wanted to meet the underage female at the Park Plaza Mall and that he had purchased condoms for the meeting.

When he arrived at Park Plaza Mall, he was observed approaching the target female at which point he was stopped and arrested by Pulaski County Sheriff's Office investigators.

Jefferson was booked in the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility and was charged with Internet Stalking of a Child and Criminal Attempt to Commit Sexual Indecency with a minor.

Jefferson is being held on no bond, pending first appearance in Pulaski County District Court.
