Victims identified in alleged murder-suicide on Geyer Springs Road in Little Rock

It appeared to be a domestic incident with the female being the victim of homicide before the male allegedly shot himself.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — According to the Little Rock Police Department, at approximately 1:55 p.m., there were several reports of shots fired on Geyer Springs Road, including a call from a nearby school that was on temporary lockdown due to the gunshots.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a deceased male and a female, allegedly victims of a murder-suicide, although the LRPD said they cannot say with certainty until a deeper investigation is conducted.

Officer Eric Barnes said that based on evidence at the scene, it appeared to be a domestic incident with the female being the victim of homicide before the male allegedly shot himself.

The male and female subjects were later identified as Keyaria Thompson, 20, and Deaunte Davis, 22, both of Little Rock. 

Detectives believe this incident is a result of a murder-suicide by Davis, who is reported to be the boyfriend of Thompson. The next of kin(s) has been notified.
