NLR police investigating bomb threat at Lakeview Middle School, scene is clear

Detectives with the North Little Rock Police Department will be conducting an investigation into the incident.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — On Friday, Jan. 24 at approximately 7:35 a.m., officers with the North Little Rock Police Department responded to 2400 Lakeview in reference to bomb threat. 

As a precautionary measure, both the middle school and 6th grade campuses were placed on lock down. 

The scene was later cleared and no suspicious items were located. The lock down on the schools were then lifted. 

Detectives with the North Little Rock Police Department will be conducting an investigation into the incident. 

This is an ongoing investigation and further information will be provided when it becomes available.
