North Little Rock police arrest man in connection to convenience store homicide

Police arrested 23-year-old Michael D’Vaughtae Evans on Thursday for his involvement in a shooting on May 2 that left one man dead.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Police arrested 23-year-old Michael D’Vaughtae Evans on Thursday for his involvement in a shooting on May 2 that left one man dead.

The North Little Rock Police Department were dispatched to a convenience store located at 23rd and Pike Avenue on May 2 and found 24-year-old Keshawn Cameron dead from apparent gunshot wounds.

Evans is currently being held without bond and has been charged with first-degree murder.
