According to Officer Barnes with LRPD, one person is dead and one is injured after a shooting that occurred on S. Martin Street Saturday night.
Officers were called to the shooting on S. Martin Street just after 9:27 p.m. No information has been released about the victim.
LRPD says there was a disturbance of some sort just before the shooting, but they do not know of a clear motive yet. A person of interest is in police custody and talking to detectives.
Officers and detectives are currently at the scene and this is an active investigation.
This is Little Rock's 25th homicide of the year.
