LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — According to Little Rock police spokesperson Eric Barnes, at approximately 10:58 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, an officer working off duty at a nearby restaurant was notified of a wreck involving a pedestrian.
The wreck occurred near the intersection of Baseline Road and S. Heights Road in Little Rock.
MEMS responded and began to perform CPR and transported the pedestrian to UAMS Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The pedestrian was identified as 64-year-old Jose Louis Gonzalez who was a resident of Little Rock. The next of ken has been notified and the collision is an ongoing investigation.
