Police investigating homicide after man found dead in McRae home

According to police, the body appeared to have suffered head trauma.

MCRAE, Ark. — According to the White County Sheriff's Office, a McRae man's death is being investigated as a homicide.

Police said deputies with the White County Sheriff's Office, along with the McRae Police Department and McRae Fire Department, responded to a 911 call at approximately 6:45 a.m. on March 4 at a home on Lynn Street.

Upon arrival, police found the body of 72-year-old Keith Crisco. It appeared Crisco had suffered trauma to his head, according to the release.

Crisco's body was removed by the White County Coroner's Office and will be transported to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for a forensic autopsy.

Police said a person of interest is being interviewed.
