Two more arrests made in connection to Jacksonville apartment fire homicide

The Jacksonville Police Department have made another arrest in reference to the Homicide/Fire that occurred on South Redmond Road.

JACKSONVILLE, Arkansas — Editor's note: The video shown above is from the first arrest made in connection with the homicide. 

The Jacksonville Police Department have made two more arrests in reference to the Homicide/Fire that occurred at 803 South Redmond Road, on Sunday, Jan. 27.

This brings a total a four arrests in connection to the homicide.

Police have taken 34-year-old Terry Ray Peterson-Davis and 27-year-old Jessica Untonika Buchanan into custody. They have been charged with Arson, Abuse of a Corpse, and Tampering with physical evidence. Both will be held at the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility with a $28,500 bond.

Detectives with the Jacksonville Police Department also arrested 34-year-old Norris A. Williams a few days prior.

When firefighters arrived on the scene on South Redmond Road in response to a structure fire, authorities initiated a search and found one male body, later identified as 48-year-old Murphy B. Atkins.

Jacksonville police also arrested 33-year-old Rayceo Ellis Barber in connection to the homicide.
