Sherwood man arrested in connection to murder of North Little Rock teen

According to Sherwood police, Trevone H. Miller has been arrested in connection to the murder of a North Little Rock teen, whose body was found in a vehicle June 25.

SHERWOOD, Ark. — According to Sherwood police, at around 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon they found a vehicle on a walking path off of Gap Creek Drive with a body inside.

According to family members, the victim's name is Brayla Stone. Brayla was 17 years old and lived in North Little Rock.

On July 2, a Capital Murder warrant was obtained for Trevone H. Miller of Sherwood for the murder of Brayla Stone.

Miller was apprehended without incident on the warrants and was transported to Pulaski County Regional Jail where he will be held pending arraignment.

The Sherwood Police Department is investigating the incident as a homicide.
