NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — On Friday, March 29, a groundbreaking ceremony was held in North Little Rock to launch the construction of a new CARTI Cancer Center.
It's a two-story, 24,000 square foot center that will offer comprehensive cancer treatment services in one location. The facility also includes an expansive, sun-lit infusion area to create a more relaxing and healing atmosphere, plus easier access and parking for patients among other features.
"It's not only a great service to patients and families from a convenience standpoint,” president and CEO of CARTI Adam Head said, “but it takes maybe just a little bit of the stress out of the cancer experience by having it all there available. We have our physicians and care team working collaboratively, to be able to provide a first-class experience to patients and families."
Construction is expected to take a little less than a year with opening scheduled for February 2020.
