HOT SPRINGS, Ark. — UPDATE - Hot Springs police arrested 18-year-old Morgan Bailey Tollefson for her involvement in this case, according to Hot Springs Public Information Officer Joey Williams.
Tollefson is charged with capital murder, aggravated robbery and theft of property.
She is being held in the Garland County Detention Center with no bond.
ORIGINAL - On Saturday, March 23, at approximately 2:20 a.m., officers responded to a possible shooting on Autumn Street.
Upon arrival, officers found an unidentified male laying on the ground in front of an apartment. The victim was later identified as 21-year-old Keon Lashawn Jackson of Hot Springs.
On Sunday, March 24, at approximately 3:45 p.m., the suspect of the shooting, Laquan Vontae Paskel, 18, of Hot Springs, was located at a residence on Oakcliff Street in Hot Springs and was taken into custody without further incident.
Paskel is being charged with Murder in the First Degree, Aggravated Robbery, and Theft of Property over $1,000. Detectives believe the incident was narcotics related.
Laquan Vontae Paskel will be held at the Garland County Detention Center with no bond.
