UPDATE - The body has been identified as 53-year-old Lattimore R. Nelson, Jr. of Los Angeles, California. This case is being treated as a homicide.
The Arkansas State Police responded to a call Wednesday morning, Jan. 2, about a deceased individual alongside Interstate 530 at mile marker 19 near Redfield.
The body was sent to the Arkansas State Medical Examiner's Office for identification and determination of cause of death.
