LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - A house went up in flames in the early hours of the last day of the year.

Thankfully, no one was hurt and no one was home during the fire. A neighbor caught the fire on camera before Little Rock firefighters arrived around 2:00 a.m.

When the firefighters arrived to Sienna Lake Cove the house was fully engulfed. In the video it appears that fire made its way across the street.

When the sun rose it revealed the extent of the damages. A car inside the garage and a few brick walls were all that remained.

"I was sleeping and my sister came to my room," said Faaiza Bhatti. "I was like kind of confused and I looked out the window and all I could see was just flames and they were huge."

A spokesperson for the Little Rock Fire Department said it's too soon to say what was the cause of the fire. The fire marshal will start the investigation on Tuesday.
