LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- We all know how important it is to stay hydrated when the temperatures go sky high.
Rebecca Buerkle from the American Heart Association joined us on THV at Noon to share some recipes for cool summer beverages that taste great without added sugar.

Raspberry Basil Iced Tea
-8 cups unsweetened decaffeinated iced tea
-2 cups raspberries, washed
-8 fresh basil leaves, washed
-4 tablespoons no-calorie sweetener
Directions: In a two-quart pitcher, combine all ingredients and gently stir.
Fresh Fruit Sangria
-3 cups unsweetened cranberry apple juice blend
-1 cup sparkling water
-1 small apple
-1/2 cup raspberries
-½ cup blueberries
-1 lemon, 1 lime both cut into slices
-1 cup crushed ice
-In a small pitcher or other container with a pouring spout, stir together the juice and sparkling water.
-In another small bowl, gently stir together the apple, raspberries, and blueberries.
-Spoon into glasses. Place 2 lemon slices and 2 lime slices in each glass. Spoon the ice over the fruit. Pour in the juice mixture.
