A hilarious video has surfaced on Facebook of an alleged attempted kidnapping in downtown Hot Springs on March 15.

A famous Al Capone statue was nearly stolen from in front of the historic Ohio Club on Central Avenue allegedly.

Two men were arrested, according to police.

Cpl. Joey Williams said Andrew Vaughn and Mason Potter Jr. were both charged with public intoxication and criminal mischief. Both men are from Missouri.

According to the police report, they caused about $1,000 worth of damage to the statue, which was recovered.

The Ohio Club's owner Mike Pettey can be seen on video chasing the men and returning with the statue under his arm.
