At a meet and greet last Friday in Fouke, Republican gubernatorial candidate Jan Morgan said the FBI "informed" her that she was on an ISIS hit list, according to the Texarkana Gazette.
In the report, that information came when Morgan answered a question about the fight around Confederate General Robert E. Lee's birthday being recognized by the state as a holiday.
"The snowflakes in our society need to know that if they have a problem with heritage, it should not be a problem for them at all," Morgan said.
During the meeting, Morgan also said she was all about gun rights, populism, and conservative values. She told attendees that there will be a choice "between someone who says they are a Republican and someone who actually is a Republican."
"I don't have a problem with legal immigration, but I do with illegal immigration," the candidate said. "Our current governor thinks that having sanctuary college campuses is okay, so what's next, sanctuary cities?"
